Custom Colors & Finishes
Gloss, satin, matte, textured, metallic, candy and two-tone — ask which finishes and colors fit your part.
What it is
Finish families
Powder comes in a wide range of colors and in several finish families. The finish is part of the look — a deep candy, a flat blacked-out matte, a textured coat — so it is worth deciding together with the part.
- GlossHigh shine with a wet, reflective look.
- SatinA low, soft sheen — clean without the glare.
- MatteFlat, with little to no reflection.
- TexturedWrinkle and hammered-style coats you can feel.
- CandyTranslucent color over a bright base for depth.
- Two-toneTwo colors or finishes on one part.
Chips are illustrations of each finish type, not a stocked-color chart.

Good to know
Before you bring it in
Have a color in mind? Bring a reference — a photo, a part in that color or a paint code — and ask how close powder can get.
Some finishes take more than one coat (candy over a base, for example), which can change the quote.
Ask which colors are on hand and which would be ordered in for your job.
General guidance about the process — the shop will tell you what your part needs.
