- 01 Thin, soft or delicate parts can call for a gentler approach — say what the part is made of when you ask for a quote.
- 02 Freshly blasted bare steel can start to flash-rust if it sits uncoated, so ask about the timing between blasting and coating.
- 03 Mention anything that must not be blasted — threads, machined faces, bearing seats — so it can be planned for.
